Alarmingly, up to 60% of rural African girls drop out of school because of menstruation; with a lack of access to basic sanitary wear leaving them socially, economically, and politically marginalised.

Project Dignity works to empower pubescent schoolgirls from impoverished rural backgrounds to complete their education, by equipping them with a reliable supply of basic sanitary products. Statistics show that there are over 4500 female learners of pubescent age in the 29 schools of the 14 villages surrounding the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve. We aim to deliver dignity to every pubescent girl in our area by providing ongoing access to washable sanitary towels.

For ZAR420 / $23, you can gift a young woman the dignity to stay in school and unlock her true potential.

*Stats: 4200 girls reached, 23 schools, 11 villages.

Of 100 children that start school in South Africa, approximately 60 will reach their final year, 37 will graduate, and only 12 will access university. Almost none will be adequately equipped to participate in the fourth industrial revolution.

We are on a mission, in partnership with the Good Work Foundation, to change this.

*Stats: 587 school learners weekly, 68 adult learners daily, 14 community educators.

The esiDulini Trust supports the Hlayisekani Nursing Homes which offer residential and frail-care facilities for vulnerable elderly people in the rural villages of Huntington and Kildare, in the surrounding province of Mpumalanga.

Our Community

DULINI IS A PLACE WHERE THE HUMAN SPIRIT RECONNECTS TO NATURE WHILE CELEBRATING THE QUINTESSENTIAL SPIRIT OF THE AFRICAN SAFARI.

Demographically, these communities rank amongst some of the most impoverished in our country. We believe we have a responsibility to extend our hand to our neighbours who live rural lifestyles far from the reach of government spending and service provision.

We aim to make a meaningful difference through educational outreach that realises individual potential and community growth.
